Women On Mission Leader: Laura Morrison
Our Women On Mission Union (WMU) group, meets each month on the second Sunday following morning worship. We minister to the ladies of Tallaweka Baptist and our community. In addition, we promote mission projects sharing the love of Jesus throughout our city, the state, and around the world. We participate annually with Samaritan Purses’ Operation Christmas Child, as well as other worthy projects. Our group promotes the Southern Baptist Convention’s Cooperative Program to fund missionaries through the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, and Kathleen Mallory Offering for WMU. Finally, we support our church children and youth ministry throughout the year providing Bibles, Christmas stockings, and gifts for other special occasions.
