OPEN PASTOR POSITION
Tallaweka Baptist Church in Tallassee, AL is prayerfully seeking God’s choice of Pastor for our congregation. We are searching for a part-time/bi-vocational pastor with a potential move to full-time as the church grows. The ideal candidate should be a devoted servant of God, who is prepared to lead our church both spiritually and morally. He must apply knowledge of The Bible, utilize the Baptist Doctrine, and demonstrate love for Christ. He should be a shepherd and a teacher with strong leadership skills and a passion for reaching out to our community and its young people. Previous pulpit experience and post high school education are desired. Seminary is preferred.
Our Christ-centered, family-focused church was founded on August 26, 1951. This small, loving family of believers is friendly and welcoming and looks forward to growth in our congregation and community outreach.
